PRAYERS

OUR PARISH PRAYER

O God, you made St. Thomas known for his zeal for holiness, and his dedication to
sacred doctrine. Help us to grow in wisdom by his teaching, and in holiness by
imitating his faith. Grant us a spirit of sacrifice, so that with your grace we will
glorify you, grow in love, and provide for the needs of our parish. We ask this
through Christ our Lord. Amen.

PRAYER TO ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST

O Glorious Saint John, you were so loved by Jesus that you merited to rest your head
upon his breast, and to be left in his place as a son to Mary. Obtain for us an
ardent love for Jesus and Mary. Let me be united with them now on earth and forever
after in heaven. Amen.

PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS

Oh God, who needs labourers in His vineyard, please inspire many young people to
commit themselves to your love and work. Mary, Mother of God, protect these
labourers and help them persevere in their vocation. We ask this through Christ our
Lord. Amen.
